Privacy policy

Nicholas Haggerty operates Find & Finish and LeadPerch, including the marketplace, contractor business tools and desktop app. This policy describes information handled through these services at app.findfinish.com. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@findfinish.com.

Information we handle

• Accounts: your email address, profile details, account identifiers and sign-in information. Supabase handles authentication. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive basic identity information such as your name, email address and profile image. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive or Google contacts for sign-in.
• Marketplace activity: contractor profiles, job requests, service areas, quotes, reviews, messages and information you choose to provide about a project.
• Business records: customer contact details and project addresses, notes, estimates, invoices, schedules, payment records, photos, files and team activity entered by you or a contractor.
• Service and delivery records: support requests, account and security events, IP addresses used for security controls, and email delivery, bounce and complaint information. Hosting providers may also process operational request logs.
• Leads: source links, request text and contact information saved from public sources or provided by users. Source availability and accuracy may change.

How information is used

We use information to run accounts and workspaces, connect customers with contractors, deliver requested documents and messages, manage schedules and platform memberships, provide support, prevent abuse and maintain the service. If you post a job or ask to be connected, relevant contractors may receive project and contact information so they can respond. Do not post sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Who can see information

Public profiles, listings and reviews can be seen by other visitors. Other records are available according to account, workspace, team and marketplace permissions; contractor access to leads may depend on membership. Information you send to another user is available to that recipient. Contractors may retain and use customer records independently for their own work and obligations.

Document and customer-job share links allow people who possess a valid link to access the information it shares, including applicable response or scheduling options. Share these links only with intended recipients.

We use service providers to operate the app: OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting, database and file storage; Supabase for authentication; Resend for email delivery; and Stripe when platform billing is enabled. ZIP-code lookup uses Zippopotam.us. These providers process information needed for their services under their own applicable terms and privacy policies. Data may be processed in countries other than where you live.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, protect people or the service, or resolve fraud or security incidents. A transfer of the service may involve its records, subject to applicable law and notice requirements.

Cookies and desktop storage

Authentication cookies and browser storage support sign-in and app functionality. Blocking them may prevent some features from working. The desktop app also stores local workspace and lead data on your device. Information used in an online workspace or explicitly imported online is sent to the hosted service. Local-only records are not automatically backed up or synchronized to the website; protect your device and maintain backups.

Email and billing

We send account, project, scheduling and service messages associated with your activity. Where a message offers email preferences or unsubscribe, use its link to change those preferences. Essential account or security messages may still be necessary. When platform billing is available, Stripe handles checkout and payment-method details; the app receives billing status and identifiers. Recording a customer payment in the business tools does not itself transfer money.

Retention, security and your choices

We retain information as needed to provide the service and address business records, security, disputes and legal obligations. Deleting a visible item may not immediately remove associated records or backups. We use HTTPS and access controls, but no service or device can guarantee absolute security.

You can update available profile and workspace information through the app. Contact support@findfinish.com to request access, correction, deletion or account closure, or to ask about a lead involving you. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the records concerned. Applicable rights depend on your location; some records may need to be retained. If a contractor independently holds your information, you may also need to contact that contractor.

Children and changes

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We will update this page when practices change and provide additional notice of material changes where required.
